Dear Parents and Carers,

Happy New Year to all our families! We hope that 2026 brings you health, happiness, and many wonderful moments with your children. As always, we are grateful for your continued support and partnership in your child’s education and well-being.

Ahead of welcoming the children back to school on Monday 5th January, we write to inform you of a sad occasion. The funeral for Mrs. Higgins will take place on Friday, 16th January. Mrs. Higgins was a valued member of our school community, and our staff would like to attend the service to pay their respects and support her family during this difficult time.

As a result, Barham School will be closed on Friday, 16th January. We understand that this may cause some inconvenience, and we sincerely hope you can understand and support this decision. We believe it is important for our staff to come together in remembrance and solidarity.
