Welcome to Barham Church of England Primary School’s website. I am proud to be headteacher of this village school that is situated a few miles from Canterbury in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We are a high attaining, successful school with a strong Christian ethos and close links to St John’s church.
We have a warm, family feel to our school with kind, thoughtful and hardworking children. Staff are dedicated in providing a broad and engaging curriculum that develops pupils socially, academically, physically and morally. We actively encourage children to be inquisitive about the world around them and we celebrate every child’s success.
We believe each child has their own special gifts and talents and it is part of our role to find them and develop them. Music, Sport, Art, Drama and Dance are important at Barham – we even have our own swimming pool!
Staff and governors are committed to providing a happy, welcoming and caring environment for children throughout the years they are with us. If you would like more information about the school, please do not hesitate to contact the school office on 01227 831312.
I look forward to meeting you during the year.
